New Discussion On ‘Speak Up, Edina!’
Edina, Minn., April 1, 2015 – The City’s next online discussion is now available at www.SpeakUpEdina.org. The discussion, which focuses on city taglines, is available until May 1.
The City of Edina does not have an official tagline. For many years, the City has used part of its vision statement, "For living, learning, raising families and doing business ..." as a sort of tagline. The City is interested in what you think about city taglines.
In the discussion, the City asks residents if Edina should have an official tagline, what sort of community characteristics should be incorporated if one were to be created, and if residents have an idea or suggestion for a tagline. Feedback from this discussion will be presented to the City Council May 19.
In March, the City gathered feedback on street lighting. Questions included what residents think of the City’s level of street lighting, if they think more or less lighting could be used, and what kind of street lighting they prefer. Feedback from this discussion will be presented to the City Council April 21.
To weigh in on a discussion, visit www.SpeakUpEdina.org.
