Draft Braemar Golf Course Master Plan to be Reviewed at Open House

Edina, Minn., Jan. 5, 2015 – Along with golf course architect Richard Mandell, the City of Edina will hold an open house 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 12, at the Braemar Golf Course Clubhouse, 6364 John Harris Drive, to share the draft Braemar Golf Course Master Plan and gather feedback.

“This [open house] is open to anyone who is interested in what Braemar Golf Course will become in the future,” said Parks & Recreation Director Ann Kattreh. “It’s certainly a very valuable asset to City of Edina and Mandell has some exciting plans for the property.”

The open house format will allow all attendees equal opportunity to review the consultant’s presentation boards and provide comments.

The Park Board will view the presentation and provide review and comment at its Jan. 13 meeting.

After the open house and Park Board meeting, the consulting team will make revisions to the vision master plan report based on public input.

A full report will be completed and posted to the website later this winter.
