Mayor Pro Tem to Lead December ‘Walk with the Mayor’
Edina, Minn., December 4, 2014 – The City of Edina holds a “Walk with the Mayor” every month. In Mayor Jim Hovland’s absence, Mayor Pro Tem Ann Swenson will lead this month’s walk at 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20 at Southdale Center.
Participants can enjoy a two-mile walk inside one of Edina’s most notable landmarks – the oldest indoor, climate-controlled shopping center in our nation. Swenson will talk about current happenings in the City, including ongoing projects and Vision Edina.
Walkers should meet by the Caribou Coffee in Southdale Center.
Walk with the Mayor events are held on the third Saturday of each month at 9 a.m.
