Mayor Hovland Leads Monthly Walk at Braemar Golf Course
Edina, Minn., Sept 16, 2016 –Jim Hovland will lead his monthly “Walk with the Mayor” at Braemar Golf Course 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17. The golf course address is 6364 John Harris Drive, but participants should meet in the small parking lot off of John Harris Drive.
Residents can join the mayor in the walk around Braemar Golf Course to review the new Academy 9, and also see where the walking and biking trails are located.
“The weather will be nice for a morning stroll with the mayor. He will point out the new golf course, and where walking and biking trails are,” said Recreation Supervisor Donna Tilsner, who helps organize the events.
Although there is a good forecast, if the weather isn’t desirable, participants should meet at Caribou Coffee in the center court of Southdale Center. The walks are usually held the third Saturday of each month at 9 a.m.
