Mayor Hovland Leads Monthly Walk at Centennial Lakes Park

Edina, Minn., Nov 17, 2016 – Jim Hovland will lead his monthly “Walk with the Mayor” at Centennial Lakes Park 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19. The park address is 7499 France Ave.

Residents can join the mayor in the walk around Centennial Lakes to have a discussion about City developments and other important events.

“Come and walk with the mayor. You’ll find out what’s happening and ask any questions of interest to you,” said Recreation Supervisor Donna Tilsner, who helps organize the events.

Participants should meet right outside of Hughes Pavilion. If the weather isn’t desirable, meet at Caribou Coffee in the center court of Southdale Center.

The walks are typically held the third Saturday of each month at 9 a.m. For more information about the Walk with the Mayor events, contact Tilsner at 952-833-9571.
